American Campion doi-Year-Old iapă este un american Thoroughbred de curse de cai onoare acordat anual unui cal de sex feminin în Thoroughbred curse plat . A devenit parte a programului Eclipse Awards în 1971.

Premiul a luat naștere în 1936, când revista Daily Racing Form (DRF) și revista Turf and Sports Digest (TSD) au început să numească campion anual. Începând din 1950, Thoroughbred Racing Associations (TRA) au început să-și numească propriul campion. Următoarea listă oferă numele cailor aleși de ambele organizații. Au existat mai multe dezacorduri, mai mulți campioni fiind recunoscuți în șapte ocazii.

Formularul zilnic de curse , Asociațiile de curse cu purcina și Asociația Națională a Scriitorilor de Teren au unit toate forțele în 1971 pentru a crea Premiul Eclipse. În 1978, votul a dus la o egalitate între doi jucători.
