Lancaster Herald of Arms in Ordinary este un ofițer de arme englez la College of Arms din Londra . Titlul de Lancaster Herald apare pentru prima dată în 1347 la Calais , iar pentru început acest ofițer era un slujitor al casei nobile din Lancaster . În calitate de reținător al lui Ioan de Gaunt (1377–1399) Lancaster a fost avansat la rangul de rege al armelor și a fost ulterior promovat în casa regală a lui Henric al IV-lea (fiul lui Gaunt) și a devenit rege al provinciei de nord. Acest aranjament a continuat până în 1464, când Lancaster a revenit la rangul de herald . De la domnia regelui Henric al VII-lea (1485-1509) Lancaster a fost un vestitor în mod obișnuit. Insigna de birou este un trandafir roșu de Lancaster, regește încoronat.

Biroul este în prezent vacant de la promovarea lui Robert Noel la Norroy și regele de arme al Ulsterului în 2021.
